Alabama Research Partnership on Improving English Learner Outcomes
The Alabama Research Partnership on Improving English Learner Outcomes was established between the REL Southeast and the Alabama State Department of Education to help 11 districts within Alabama build on their current work to improve English learner student outcomes in the state.

Alabama English Learners Partnership
The Alabama Research Partnership for Improving English Learner Outcomes addresses issues specific to improving programs and services provided to English learner students in Alabama schools and districts. The goal of the partnership is to ensure that districts and schools in Alabama have the support necessary to provide evidence-based programs to meet the needs of Alabama's rapidly growing English learner student population.

Florida Panhandle K-5 Literacy Partnership
The REL Southeast Florida Panhandle K-5 Literacy Partnership is a collaborative group of literacy educators from 14 small and rural school districts across the region and the organization that supports them, the larger central school district within the region, and the Florida Department of Education. The partnership is focused on increasing knowledge and implementation of evidence-based practices in literacy at elementary schools across the area.

Florida Virtual School Partnership
The Florida Virtual School (FLVS) Partnership is engaged in active, collaborative work to help the adults who support FLVS elementary students increase their knowledge and use of evidence-based practices in literacy and math. The partnership is also exploring how to translate and apply the latest knowledge about evidence-based practices in literacy and math to the online learning environment.

Florida Career Readiness
The long-term goal of the Florida Career Readiness Research Alliance is to use research and data to plan, support, and implement initiatives that will improve graduation rates, workplace learning experiences, and rigor in Career and Technical Education program coursework at the school, district, and state levels. The short-term objectives to meet this goal will be accomplished through a combination of training, coaching, and technical support activities that will be determined by alliance members in partnership with REL Southeast staff.

The School Climate and Literacy for Georgia (SCAL4GA) partnership focuses on developing a greater understanding of the relationship between school climate and literacy, improving state and district staff understanding of evidence-based practices related to improving school climate, and supporting district and school staff to implement evidence-based practices for improving school climate and monitoring the use of school climate data to improve student outcomes. This partnership is comprised of REL Southeast staff and state level leaders from the Georgia Department of Education.

Diversifying the Teacher Pipeline with Historically Black Colleges and Universities
The Diversifying the Teacher Pipeline with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) Partnership is focused on increasing knowledge, the implementation and dissemination of evidence-based practices to inform pre-service and in-service initiatives to enhance and diversify the educator pipeline and workforce. With partners from HBCUs, state?and local educational agencies, the partnership promotes collaboration and coordination among entities to engage in technical support and research activities that will inform initiatives being conducted at the institutional level at HBCUs, as well as at state and district levels.

Mississippi Adolescent Literacy Partnership
The Mississippi Adolescent Literacy Partnership creates a collaborative environment where stakeholders and REL Southeast staff bridge contextual knowledge and expertise with use of research and evidence-based practices that support the improvement of adolescent literacy skills. The partnership is comprised of REL Southeast staff, school district level leaders from Canton Public School District, Columbus Municipal School District, Laurel School District, Leake County School District, Rankin County School District, Walthall County School District from Mississippi, and representatives from the MDE Literacy Office, Bureau of Student Intervention, and the Bureau of Secondary Education.

Post-Secondary Success at Historically Black Colleges and Universities
The REL Southeast's Post-Secondary Success at Historically Black College and Universities (HBCUs) partnerships focus on enhancing the awareness and use of research-based knowledge and strategies to improve student retention, matriculation, and outcomes (i.e., graduation rates). The partnerships are also designed to further enhance the capacity of faculty to conduct and engage in collaborative research with state, local, and community educational agencies to improve student outcomes for students in K-12 and post-secondary settings.

North Carolina Competency-Based Education Partnership
The North Carolina Competency-Based Education (NC CBE) Partnership focuses on sharing and discussing evidence-based practices related to the design and implementation of competency-based education (CBE). Each of the partner schools and districts have begun implementing CBE and the partnership will provide a community of practice for them to share ideas and lessons learned from the implementation process. As schools move toward full implementation of CBE, they can serve as models of practice for others.

The Southeast School Readiness Partnership seeks to build the capacity of preschool teachers and administrators across the six states in the region to use evidence-based emergent literacy instruction to support three- to five-year old children’s language and literacy learning and to help policymakers understand the factors that influence access to high-quality childcare and preschool programs.

South Carolina Partnership to Implement Professional Learning Community: Emergent Literacy
The South Carolina Professional Learning Community: Emergent Literacy Partnership (SC PLC EL) is a collaboration between key state education agency representatives, select demonstration sites, and the REL Southeast. The goal of the partnership is to explore the implementation of Professional Learning Community: Emergent Literacy (PLC-EL) and learn about impacts on teacher practice and student outcomes to inform scaling across South Carolina. The partnership seeks to learn about the conditions, facilitators, and barriers that affect implementation. The partnership will engage in two primary projects: 1) intensive coaching with a small cohort of demonstration sites to implement PLC-EL to understand and address barriers to implementation, and 2) an applied research study to evaluate the implementation and impact of PLC-EL on teacher practice and student outcomes.
